Ariana Nuñez-Restituyo
Ariana Nuñez-Restituyo graduated with her B.S. in Public Health with a minor in Psychology from Rutgers University in 2015 and continued her education at the Rutgers School of Public Health to complete her MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology in 2019. Her career began as a Community Health Worker at the Central Jersey Family Health Consortium, a maternal and child health non-profit organization and worked her way to become a Program Manager for the Data Evaluation and Analytics Department. Ariana has transitioned into becoming a public health consultant for her firm, Pro Public Health Consulting LLC, full time mom, and gardening enthusiast. Her primary focus is on health education and training students, providers and community members on public health related topics, such as the social determinants of health, lifespan health, environmental health, advocacy, and strategies for data collection, and program development/evaluation. She also serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and the Health Education and Social Media Manager for the SIDS Center of New Jersey. At SCNJ Ariana virtually educates healthcare and social service providers and community members on risk-reduction strategies for Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and how to create a safe sleep environment for infants, as well as, research and data analysis.
