Nikayah Etienne
Nikayah Etienne is a first-year master’s student studying biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Previously, she graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with her bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. She then worked as a Mechanical Engineer and a Diversity and Inclusion Council member for Lockheed Martin to be a force in prioritizing representation in engineering at an industry level. She currently serves as the Graduate Assistant for the Center for Diversity and Inclusion-Multicultural Affairs and upon matriculation, hopes to work in the women’s health technology industry to innovate medical devices for gynecology while continuing her journey in diversity work within STEM.
