Bernadet (Bernie) DeJonge
Bernadet (Bernie) DeJonge has been a faculty member in the School of Human Services (SOHS) since 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Supervision and Education from Oregon State University and an MA in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University. Bernie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and maintains full mental health licensure (LMHC) in Washington State. Bernie has developed and taught courses in DEIB content at the bachelor’s and master’s level, including multicultural counseling at multiple institutions. She has had extensive training and experience in DEIB curriculum development, particularly around course development in the online or hybrid environment. Currently, Bernie is an active member of the School of Human Services (SOHS) curriculum committee.
